USA ex. Rel. Colunga v. Hercules, Inc.
This was a whistle blower case where the plaintiff sought damages for fraud and abuses in quality assurance documentation for the construction of solid fuel rocket motors.  It resulted in a settlement of $55,000,000, at the time, the largest settlement in the history of the False Claims Act not involving government prosecution.

Doe Pharmaceutical Co. V. Roe Pharmaceutical Co.
This case involved claims of false advertising and unfair competition and resulted in a mutually beneficial exchange of product rights worth several million dollars to Mr. Mazzarella's client.

Doe Medical Group v. Roe Billing Company
Mr. Mazzarella won a $6,400,000 settlement against a billing company for its failure to successfully collect on medical bills due to a medical group.

Construction Defects

Doe Inns and Suites v. Roe Construction Company
Mr. Mazzarella won a $2,300,000 settlement for the owner of 38-unit motel due to defects in construction

Pecos Ranch HOA v. Jackson Properties
Mr. Mazzarella recovered a $375,000 settlement for his client due to defects in masonry walls.

Eminent Domain & Inverse Condemnation

Cal-Trans v. Zubkis
This case involved Cal-Trans' taking of a homeowner's property for the construction of a freeway.  Cal-Trans' pre-condemnation offer was $1,000,000, but Mr. Mazzarella obtained a $2,790,000 payment for the owner.

Doe Homeowner v. Roe Sewer District
Mr. Mazzarella recovered $675,000 for a homeowner whose property was damaged by water that was inadvertently channeled to the property by a sewer trench.

County of San Luis Obispo v. Filbin
This case involved a $2,500,000.00 recovery for a property owner whose land was taken to allow for airport expansion.

Insurance Bad Faith

Shepard v. Cal Farm
The Law Offices of Daral B. Mazzarella obtained policy benefits for the client valued at $2,000,000.  The case also resulted in an appellate court decision, which established the requirement that insurance companies must warn their customers that eligibility for Medicare due to a disability at any age may eliminate or reduce private coverage.

Marika v. North American Van Lines
This case resulted in an award of $1,550,000 for a teenager whose foot was run over by a moving van making a right turn.

Doe v. UCSD
Mr. Mazzarella obtained $450,000 for a student who was injured in a collision with a fellow student riding a skateboard on campus.

Pirouzan v. Roe
Mr. Mazzarella won $750,000 for a dentist who suffered carpel tunnel syndrome following a collision between a bicycle and automobile.

Ambu v. Landscape Company
This case resulted in a $2,235,000 recovery for a man who suffered a neck injury when he tripped in a depression left in the ground after a tree was removed.

Doe v. Roe Skylight Manufacturer
Mr. Mazzarella obtained $2,100,000 for the employee of an electrical subcontractor who was injured in a fall through an unguarded skylight while making repairs on the roof of a commercial building.

Doe v. Roe ATV Manufacturer
Mr. Mazzarella won $1,900,000 for the injured operator of an all terrain vehicle with a defective throttle design.

Doe v. Roe All Terrain Forklift Manufacturer
